Jonathan Dickey is an associate attorney at the Buechler Law Office. Jon specializes in representing debtors, creditors, and Trustees across all Chapters of the Bankruptcy Code, and also has significant experience representing debtors and creditors in state court litigation.
Jon is active in the Colorado Bar Association, and was a speaker at the Colorado Bar Association Bankruptcy Case Law Update in April 2016. Jon also participated in the 2016 Judges’ Roundtable at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Rocky Mountain Bankruptcy Conference.
Prior to moving to Colorado in 2014, Jon practiced bankruptcy law in Indianapolis, Indiana. While there, Jon was a frequent speaker on bankruptcy issues for the National Business Institute.
Jon also co-authored an article titled Bad Boy Guaranties: Conflicts that Arise in Dual Representation in the August 2013 issue of the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Ethics & Professional Compensation Newsletter.
Jon was born in Lombard, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois where he graduated with a B.S. in Finance as a Chancellor’s Scholar in 2005. Jon also attended the University of Illinois for law school, earning his J.D. in 2008. While at Illinois, Jon was a Notes Editor for the Journal of Law, Technology and Policy.
When he is not working, Jon, his wife, and his dog can be found in the mountains, running and hiking.
