Mark Melmed

A Maryland native, Mark graduated from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law with a concentration in business law. While in law school, Mark competed in the 30th and 31st Annual Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competitions and was a research assistant for his federal income tax professor. Mark is admitted to practice law in Colorado, including the U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado.

Before he started at Buechler Law Office, LLC, Mark worked for Coon & Cole, LLC, a multi-practice law firm in the greater Baltimore area. He also interned for District Court Judge Jay S. Grant in Denver District Court and Senior Administrative Law Judge Edwin L. Felter, Jr. in the Colorado Office of Administrative Courts.             

Prior to law school, Mark interned in Maryland’s Office of the Public Defender and worked as the District Director to Maryland Senator Jeff Waldstreicher.

Mark received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is also an alumnus of the National Outdoor Leadership School, Patagonia, Chile.

In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time outdoors (especially skiing and biking) and exploring the greater Denver area. Mark is also a loyal Minnesota Vikings fan and a former Breckenridge ski instructor.
